The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly announces the OSCE Annual Cybersecurity Forum 2025, which will take place on 19 November 2025 at Hotel Hills Ilidža, held in parallel with the Cyber Security Summit 2025.
This Forum is part of the Mission’s activity titled “Fostering Awareness and Co-operation towards the Implementation of OSCE Cyber/ICT Security Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs)”, aimed at strengthening cooperation and raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity at both national and regional levels.
The central theme of the Forum, “Bridging the Gaps Between Policy and Technical Communities in Cybersecurity”, will explore the reasons why Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to lag behind regional and global standards in the field of cybersecurity — primarily due to the absence of a state-level strategy, key legislation, and the establishment of a national CERT.
The Forum will bring together representatives of institutions, regulatory bodies, academia, the private sector, youth, and other relevant stakeholders, with the goal of fostering dialogue and enhancing cross-sectoral cooperation.
