How is the quantum threat reshaping organizational security, and what risks does it pose today? This session explains what the quantum threat is, how it differs from familiar cyber threats, and why it is particularly relevant to banking, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure. Through scenarios such as harvesting encrypted data for future decryption, we will explore what is at risk and which decisions organizations need to start making. The final part of the session focuses on practical approaches to implementing post-quantum protection for existing systems today. Could a concrete solution to this global threat also emerge from Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Developing People for AI, Cybersecurity and a Resilient Society What if your biggest capability gap is hidden behind impressive credentials? A university degree, a certificate and a workshop — each tells its own story. Everyday performance and what you and your company need tell another. How do we connect them and prepare people for work that rapid digital transformation and artificial intelligence are already changing? This session challenges familiar assumptions about professional development. Drawing on cybersecurity practice, it explores how to identify development needs, define expectations through observable results and turn everyday assignments into opportunities for growth — with employees, mentors and managers sharing responsibility for progress. Explore the Human Capability and Resilience Framework (HCRF) and discover how judgement, independent and responsible action, and AI literacy connect professional competence with collective resilience. Whether you lead a business, develop people, teach or shape your own career, take away a practical approach to asking: What capabilities matter? How will we develop them? How can we bridge the skills gap? What will count as evidence?
